I don't take his word for everything and the way he talks can be EXTREMELY obnoxious, but he frequently shows gaming builds from dirt cheap, but competent to enthusiast performance and pricey. I always trust those. :3

Just follow him and pick a build when you're financially ready. Though keep in mind, he only goes over towers not the entire package (mouse/keyboard/monitor/etc).

In the meantime after you get Sims...

I can safely say I could probably never paint that well even if I tried to get that good.

And it's a mystery as to what the fuck he wanted with ME. I have a feeling someone I know (two people) put him up to it for a specific reason because I have never actually gone to his profile or faved anything. But, I saw his icon on their pages for a book he's making.
